SprayMax High Build 2K primer is characterized by its extremely fast drying. Thanks to the short drying time you save time and therefore money. What can I use this SprayMax 2K primer on?
This 2K Acrylic Filler in spray can can be used on steel, aluminum, galvanized plates, putty, and old paint layers.
- Old paint layers (cleaned and sanded)
- Fully cured repair work paint (cleaned and sanded)
- Electrophoretic paint (cleaned and sanded)
- Small areas sanded through (cleaned and sanded)
- Large scuffed areas pre-sprayed with SprayMax 1K Filler Primer or SprayMax 2K Epoxy Primer Filler
How does a SprayMax 2K spray can work?
- Shake the can well for 2 min. before activation
- Remove the red push button from the cap
- Turn the spray can 180° and put the push button on the pin in the bottom of the spray can
- Turn the aerosol can with the cap upside down for a stable base
- Press the red button with the ball of your hand
- After activating, shake again for 2 minutes
Application
- Wet-on-wet. 2 layers = 40 μm
- Sanding filler: 3-4 layers = 60-80 μm
- Consumption: approx. 0.3 m² - 0.6 m² / per spray can depending on application thickness and object
Drying times of the 2K acrylic filler
- Dust-dry: 5 min at 20°C
- Touch dry: 15 min at 20°C
- Sandable: 5 hours at 20°C
- Approximately 24 hours at 20°C room temperature
- Application depends on the ambient temperature. Higher temperatures lead to shorter and lower temperatures to longer shelf life
Sandable
- After 5 hours at 20°C wet with grain Waterproof P800-1200
- Wet-on-wet recoatable
- Can be oversprayed with all common one-pack or two-pack finishes (both solvent-based and water-based lacquers)
