Tie wraps come in different colours, materials, lengths and widths. Cable ties are also known as zip ties, wire ties or hose ties. Fasteners are a low-cost item which has many uses including holding things together such as car parts and cables. Zip ties are ideal for having in any toolbox. There are endless uses for ty raps. Many people use cable ties because they are strong and don't break that easily.

How To Use A Zip Tie

Ty raps are generally for single use. Plastic ties are simple to use and remove.

1. Insert the pointed end of the ty rap into the head of the tie, pull the head to tighten as far as it goes.
2. When the cable tie does not lock, undo and turn the tie over.
3. If you do not wish to re-use the wire tie, you can cut the end as desired.

Hose Clamps

A hose clamp is designed to secure a hose over a fitting, this prevents the fluid in the hose leaking at the connection. Hose clamps can be used in a variety of different industries. Popular attachments include anything from car engines to bathroom fittings.
