How to spray Candy Apple paint?

1. Before you begin, applying the special Candy Apple pre-color is important. Make sure you have sprayed this opaque (usually 2-3 coats) so that you have the perfect base for the transparent Candy color paint.
2. After the pre-color is dry you don't need to sand it. Preferably wipe off the paint with a tack cloth so you can be sure the surface is dust-free before spraying the Candy Appe paint.
3. Shake the spray can well for at least 3 miutes before use so that all the pigments are mixed together. Spray a first thin coat and let it evaporate for 2 minutes. Then spray a two to three cross coats until the desired coverage is achieved for you. Note, keep a 5-minute break between coats to allow the paint to evaporate.
4. Good to know, the number of coats of Candy Apple determines how bright, light or dark the color becomes. The fewer coats the lighter the color becomes. If you spray more layers of Candy Apple, the result and the color will become darker.
