Threadlocking adhesives
Loctite is a high-strength threadlocker for maximum efficacy in the securing and sealing of bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. Loctite serves to permanently lock assemblies which must not come loose.
Loctite threadlockers
Henkel threadlocking fluids can used to seal (lock) fastener assemblies together to prevent accidental loosening of fasteners over time. To use thread locking glue with fasteners, a small amount of the adhesive should be placed on the threading of a bolt where the nut is going to rest prior to installation. Once dry, the adhesive forms a bond that will hold the fastener assembly in place even when exposed to constant vibration. We offer the following Loctite threadlockers

Loctite 243 threadlocker
Blue Loctite 243 is a general purpose thread locking fluid of medium bond strength. Threadlocker blue secures and seal bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminium and plated surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of minor contamination due to industrial oils, e.g. engine oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids.

Loctite Thread Sealant
Loctite pipe sealant is designed for the locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings as well as other cylindrical metal assemblies. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. We offer the following Loctite thread sealant
