DIY Chalk Painting

Chalk paint can be used on many surfaces. It can also be used on a piece of furniture that lives outside. It simply is not formulated to withstand all that abuse and exposure. On the other hand, it can be used on kitchen cabinets and dining tables. However, you might want to consider to use a clear varnish for a more durable coating. Chalk paint is not recommended for metal or plastic surfaces. Please follow the instructions below

1. Shake the chalk paint spray can well before use
2. Make sure the surface is clean and dust-free
3. Lightly scuff high gloss surfaces with sand paper or a sanding sponge. Apply 1-3 even coats within an hour or after 48 hours.
