Alabastine MDF Filler fills small cracks and holes in MDF and HDF. The filler is suitable for indoor use, perfectly sandable and repaintable after only 2 hours.

What is MDF and HDF?

MDF is a board material which is made up of small wood fibers that are pressed together. It is widely used for making furniture. HDF is a further development of MDF and has improved properties. It contains higher density and has more fibers.

How to use mdf putty alabastine?

How to fill holes and unevenness MDF? Follow the step-by-step plan below.

1. Clean the surface for 100% grease-free and clean MDF.
2. Sand screw hole or gap before filling with sanding block (180 grit).
3. Knead the tube well and then apply the MDF filler straight from the tube into the screw hole or gap. Then smooth out with a spatula.
4. For best results: after 45 minutes apply a second thin coat with a spatula.
5. After 2 hours drying (at 20°C) sand with sanding block. MDF can now be further treated.
6. Clean tools with warm water after use.
7. Do not store and use below 5°C.
