CROP Metal Putty 750ml
CROP Metal Putty 750ml is a professional 2K polyester putty for metal, steel, aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel. This 2K metal putty is heat resistant, rust resistant and adheres excellently to both non-ferrous and ferrous metals. With this special putty for metal you fill dents, holes and cracks in steel and aluminum. After the 2-component putty is dry, you can easily sand it smooth. If desired, you can apply a finishing putty afterwards.
Putty for aluminum
Putty for aluminum is used for filling holes, cracks and dents. This gray metal putty is a special aluminum putty that adheres strongly to the surface. Because the metal putty aluminum is gray in color, you are able to make a high-quality repair.
Steel putty
Steel putty is special for leveling unevenness in metal. The CROP 2K metal putty for steel contains anti-corrosion properties and adheres strongly to the material. Filling steel with this polyester metal putty keeps the metal rust free and well protected from corrosion.
Sanding metal putty? You need this grit!
Sanding metal putty is done once it is fully cured. To sand steel putty, we recommend grit P80 to start with. Then proceed in steps to P120, P180 and P220 for a nice clean sanded metal putty. After the putty is dry you can apply your desired primer that serves as a primer for your paint.

Mixing ratio metal 2K filler
The metal 2K putty mixing ratio is 2 to 3%. Add between 2 and 3% hardener to the putty and mix the two components well while making the putty. Use a mixing pad with a spatula or putty knife to do this. Too much hardener can lead to too rapid curing and can also cause the putty to detach or mark through the paint. Therefore, always mix the putty with hardener carefully and avoid drawing in air while mixing.

How long is a 2K spray can usable after activation?
24 hours. After activating the 2K spray can, the two components will mix, starting the curing process, making the spray can usable for 24 hours.
