Matt clear coat 2K

CROP matte clear coat 2K is a professional clear coat to spray over existing and freshly sprayed automotive paint, acrylic paint and 2 component varnish. The CROP HS 2K Clear Coat matte has a high solids content so the matte varnish does not collapse and has more "body" than others. With this CROP clear coat matt of the best quality you have a very high layer thickness that ensures maximum scratch resistance and resistance to gasoline, diesel, chemicals, acids and discoloration by UV sunlight.

Matte clear coat spraying

This matte clear coat can be applied using a sprayer with a 1.3 mm or 1.4 mm nozzle opening at a compressed air pressure of 2.5 to 3 bar. Follow the steps below to correctly spray this HS 2K clear coat matt.

1. Adjust your paint sprayer to a compressed air pressure of 2.5 to 3 bar maximum.
2. Wipe off the color, base coat or 2K lacquer with a tack cloth making it 100% dust-free.
3. Spray 2 coats of matte clear coat and allow it to cure completely.
4. Be careful not to spray too thick as this can cause the clear coat to shine!
5. Allow the matt clear coat to cure completely.

Mixing ratio HS 2K clear coat matt 1 liter

The mixing ratio of the HS 2K clear coat matt is 3:1. This means that to 1 liter of clear coat, you need to add 330ml of hardener. If desired, you can dilute the clear coat including hardener 5 to 15% with CROP Universal Thinner for the desired viscosity.

Drying time 2K Matte Clear Coat HS

Drying time of 2K Matte Clear Coat HS depends on temperature, humidity and layer thickness. Keep the following guidelines concerning the drying time of this 2 component varnish matt at 20 degrees Celsius.

• Dust dry: 30 minutes
