Spray clear varnish

This clear coat is sprayed using a paint sprayer with a 1.3mm or 1.4mm nozzle opening at an air pressure of 2.5 to 3 bar. Follow the steps below to correctly spray this UHS 2K clear coat.

1. Adjust your paint sprayer to a compressed air pressure of 2.5 to 3 bar maximum.
2. To be sure, wipe off the color, base coat or 2K varnish with a tack cloth making it 100% dust-free.
3. Spray a thin coat of varnish and wait 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Now spray a full 2nd coat and let the clear coat evaporate for another 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Spray a 3rd and final coat of clear coat after which you let the clear coat cure completely.

Mixing ratio UHS 2K clear coat 5 liter

The mixing ratio of the UHS 2K clear coat is 2:1. This means that you have to add 2.5 liters of hardener to 5 liters of clear coat. If desired, you can dilute the clear coat including hardener up to 5% with CROP Universal Thinner for the desired viscosity.

Drying time 2K Clear Coat UHS

Drying time of 2K Clear Coat UHS depends on temperature, humidity and layer thickness. Keep the following guidelines regarding the drying time of this 2 component clear coat at 20 degrees Celsius.

• Dust-dry: 60 minutes
• Can be handled: 8 to 10 hours
• Fully cured: 24 hours
