Raptor Liner Acid Etch Primer
Raptor Liner Acid Etch Primer is a spray primer suitable for bare metal, aluminium, iron and steel. The Acid Etch primer has an etching effect, which makes it extremely strong adhesion to metal. Thanks to the wide flat spray nozzle, you can spray the etch primer in large, opaque and even layers on the surface. You do not have to sand the Raptor Liner Etch Primer and you can directly repaint with body line coating, 1K or 2K paint.
Etch primer for metal
This etching primer seals bare metal and protects against corrosion, rust, water and air. Thanks to its etching quality, the Raptor Liner Acid Etch Primer is ideal as a primer to which paint can adhere. This metal etch primer can also be used on galvanised steel and aluminium.

How do you remove adhesive residues
Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint
How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Do you need to sand primer
Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.
