Frequently Asked Questions

How do you remove adhesive residues

Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint

How much can I spray with a spray can?

A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.

Do you need to sand primer

Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.

Should clear coat be applied over car paint?

Yes, you should use clear coat over 1K automotive paint to protect the color. When buying clear coat, you have options such as high-gloss, satin, and matte, as well as 1K and 2K. 2K clear coat is the original factory high-gloss finish and is the most commonly chosen varnish.

very satisfied
Last weekend I sprayed my aluminum rims with very nice results. The primer can gives a nice spray flow, very little tendency to sag and good coverage. Even the deeper nooks and crannies nicely covered without sagging. Fast drying and repaintable after 1 to 2 hours. The recommendation is to shake for 10 minutes before use, which no one does. 1 minute appears to be sufficient. Sanded through edges of old paint wrinkled up slightly. Sanded extremely gently in between (after an hour of drying the burnt-on primer edges. When the can is almost empty the flow decreases and the nozzle may splatter a bit. It is difficult to search/find the instructions on the site. The information on the canister is too small to read and gives little practical information. No information on whether-not necessary to sand the primer before applying the opaque coat, I did not sand because I expect the opaque coat to adhere to the fresh primer.
