Primer for every kind of surface
MoTip Primer Grey is sprayable with all types of paint and lacquer. Therefore, it is a universal adhesive primer that can be used with 1K paints, 2K paints, acrylic paints, lacquers based on alkyd resin and nitro-cellulose. This primer can be used as an adhesive primer on metal, steel, wood, aluminum, glass and stone. After the primer has cured, it can easily be sanded from grit 400.
How do I spray MoTip primer?
Before you start spraying the MoTip primer filler, the surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove any old paint residue and rust. Make sure the aerosol is at room temperature and shake it well for 2 minutes. Before you start, always spray a test piece! Keep a distance of 25 to 30 centimeters to the object. The most ideal processing temperature is 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.

How do you remove adhesive residues

A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Do you need to sand primer
Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.
Should clear coat be applied over car paint?
