MOTIP Anti Corrosion Primer Red/Brown in a large 500ml Aerosol is a fast drying, lead free red oxide primer to treat untreated surfaces of ferro-metal. Suitable as pre treatment for re- spraying with air drying alkyd lacquer systems. Anti corrosion primer has excellent coverage, filling properties and adhesion. MoTip Anti Corrosion Primer is weldable and easy to sand and has excellent corrosion prevention.

Usage
Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and act accordingly.
- Pre Treatment
- The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease.
- Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
- Treatment

- The aerosol should have room temperature.
- Best processing temperature 5 to 30°C.
- Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample.
- Distance to the surface to be treated approximately 20 centimetre.
- Apply anti corrosion primer in several layers.
- Before applying the next layer, again shake the aerosol.
- After use, clean the valve (turn aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for approximately 5 seconds).
- The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied.

A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
