MIPA Winner red-brown rust protection primer in a practical aerosol can
MIPA Rostschutz Winner is a red-brown primer with rust protection properties for metals: aluminium, steel, iron, etc. This anti-rust primer spray dries quickly and has a very good adhesion to the surface. Rostschutz has a high filling capacity so that irregularities such as scratches, dents and other small surface irregularities are filled. This primer dries very quickly and it is possible to sand the primer after only 30 minutes of drying.
Anti-corrosion primer
This is a special primer with rust protection for long-term metal protection. You can spray the Rostschutz primer directly onto bare metal or onto existing paint that has been sanded and degreased. After spraying the rust protection primer, the metal is well protected and resistant to rust and corrosion. Due to its high quality, this MIPA product is known as an easy to spray and low consumption primer.
Do you want to spray a rust protection primer?
Follow the step-by-step plan below on how best to apply this primer. MIPA's Rostschutz is well known as an easy-to-spray rustproofing primer.
- Shake the can vigorously before use until you hear the mixing beads move freely.
- Use at temperatures between 15 and 25ºC.
- Maintain a spray distance of 20-30 cm from the surface.
- Apply 2 to 3 full coats of primer.
- Allow 5 minutes of evaporation time between coats.

How do you remove adhesive residues
Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint
How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Do you need to sand primer
Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.
