Does your car bumper have holes or cracks? With this 2-component polyester repair kit you can repair all cracks and holes by making use of the included fiberglass mat. After hardening the resin, a fine filler can be applied. Afterwards, the bumper can be sprayed!
Elastic epoxy resin
MoTip Polyester Resin based on Epoxy is permanently elastic. Even when the resin is fully cured! As a result, the resin does not shrink and prevents cracks or breaks in the repaired surface. With this resin you are assured of a long-lasting repair.
How do I use MoTip 2K Polyester Repair Resin?
- Cut the fibreglass mat in the correct size, with a small overlap. Mix the required amount of polyester resin with the harder.
- Lubricate the edges of the hole to be filled with polyester resin and apply the fibreglass mat.
- Lubricate the mat with polyester resin, starting at the edge
- Then apply the fibreglass fleeze and lubricate the polyester resin
- Depending on the damage, this procedure can be repeated
- After hardening, only mechanically sandable
- After hardening, sand and when desired apply a fine putty
