Is metallic paint more expensive?

Metallic paint is often more expensive when purchasing a new car due to the more complex spraying process. However, when you order custom car paint from us, there is no difference in price whether you choose a solid colour or a metallic colour – the price is the same. Metallic paint is, however, exclusively available in 1K car paint, while solid colours are available in both 1K and 2K car paints. This is because the metallic particles in the paint react with the hardener in the 2K paint.
