How much car paint do I need?

This depends on the size of the damage, the type of paint, the surface, and your spraying technique. For a small panel like a mirror cap, you'll need approximately 100–150 ml; for a door handle or trim, about 100 ml; for a bumper corner or fender, around 200–300 ml; for an entire bumper, 400–500 ml; and for a full door or hood, approximately 500–700 ml. For a full respray of the car, this can add up to around 3–4 liters, depending on the color and coverage. We always recommend calculating 10% extra to ensure you don’t run out halfway through.
