3M PPS 2.0 series is the latest spray cup system, also called change cup system, from 3M Paint Preparation System. The new 3M PPS system has been completely redeveloped in cooperation with the most professional sprayers. As a result, the 3M PPS 2.0 system is even better and more productive than it was before.

3M PPS and 3M PPS 2.0. What's the difference?

3M PPS is a professional spray cup system that has been around for years and used daily. With the advent of the 3M PPS 2.0 series, the change cup system has gotten even better! The difference between the 3M PPS and 3M PPS 2.0 is in 6 points. The 6 differences are:

1. Adapter: the 3M PPS 2.0 adapter now has a wide spout and four-point coupling. This provides more stability while spraying and makes cleaning the adapter easier.
2. Lid lock: a lid lock is included with each lid. This makes the lid lock faster and keeps the cup system cleaner.
3. Lidshape: the lid is shaped like a dome. There is now a filter over the entire lid. This ensures that paint will sputter less at the end.
4. New cup: each set now comes with a new cup. This eliminates the need for mixing cups thanks to the fill markings and mixing ratios on the cup.
5. Access opening: there is an opening in the cup for your finger to hold the inner cup to make it easier to open and close the lid.
6. Larger sealing plug: the larger plug allows you to seal the cup airtight and put it away more stably when you are finished.

Want to use the 3M PPS 2.0 and know exactly how it works? In just six steps, you will have the best results while spraying paint and lacquer with this change cup system.

1. Place the inner cup in the 3M PPS 2.0 cup.
2. Mix the paint in the 3M PPS 2.0 cup.
3. Place the lid on the cup. Align the black part of the quarter turn locking system with the opening in the cup. Then press the lid down firmly. Turn a quarter turn to lock the lid.
4. Take the 3M PPS 2.0 adapter and screw it onto the cup system.
5. Finished spraying? Disconnect the air line from the paint sprayer, flip the gun over and spray residual paint from the cup.
6. put 3M PPS 2.0 cup away? Use the sealing plug to seal the system airtight.
