MoTip Removeable Coating glossy black in spray can
MoTip Removeable Coating is a glossy black removable film that can be sprayed to give temporarily car body parts, objects or other surfaces a new colour. This MoTip coating is also very suitable for giving your rims a glossy black colour. The finish is comparable to the deep black colour RAL9005 and dries matt. Do you want to get the original colour back? Then the coating is easy to remove simply by peeling it off.

MoTip's black glossy removeable coating is packaged in a 500ml aerosol can that gives high coverage. The can has a spray nozzle that you can rotate 360 degrees. This means that you always have the right spray angle. Thanks to the high quality, you can easily remove the MoTip film whenever you want. Removeable Coating adheres to all materials, substrates and surfaces: aluminium, iron, steel, plastic, glass, wood, 2K finishes. We advise not to use this product on 1K paint.
How to apply the glossy black coating?
MoTip's Removeable Coating is a glossy black coating that can be easily sprayed onto various surfaces. In a few simple steps, you can spray MoTip's Removeable Coating yourself to achieve a beautiful glossy black finish.
- Before you start applying the coating, it is important that the surface you are going to spray on is clean, dry and free of grease. Use a degreaser for this.
- As this is a removable finish, you do not need to apply a primer.
- Make sure the spray can is at room temperature. The surface and environment should also be between 10°C and 25°C. This allows the product to flow properly.
- Shake the can well for 3 minutes.
- Always spray a sample before starting to see if it has the desired effect.
- Keep a distance of 25-30 cm between the nozzle and the surface while spraying.
- Apply at least 5 coats with a 5 minute evaporation break at 20°C.
- To prevent the MoTip coating from cracking during shrinkage, apply an extra coat in critical areas. For example corners and edges.
- After the application of the last coat, everything must be allowed to dry thoroughly. The curing time depends on the thickness, humidity and ambient temperature.

How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Should clear coat be applied over car paint?
Yes, you should use clear coat over 1K automotive paint to protect the color. When buying clear coat, you have options such as high-gloss, satin, and matte, as well as 1K and 2K. 2K clear coat is the original factory high-gloss finish and is the most commonly chosen varnish.
