High Build primer filler
SprayMax High Build primer filler is more than a adhesion promoter with good filling power. This SprayMax primer can also be used as wash primer, filler and filler primer. How this works is shown below.
- Washprimer: Spray this primer in 1 layer with a layer thickness of 15µm.
- Primer: Spray this primer in 1 to 2 layers with a layer thickness between 15 and 30µm.
- Filler primer: Do you want this primer to fill the unevennesses well? Then spray 2 to 3 coats with a layer thickness of 30 to 50µm.
Primer with a nice spray pattern
sprayMax's 1-component Filler Primer is equipped with a spray cap that provides a particularly nice spray pattern with a high paint output. This saves you time, but the drying of the paint is also considerably faster. As a result, this SprayMax spray can primer is also excellent for wet and dry sanding.

How do I spray this SprayMax primer?
We recommend first de-rusting and thoroughly cleaning the damaged area with SprayMax silicone remover. This will ensure that the surface is clean, grease and dust free. Then shake the spray can thoroughly for 2 minutes and spray a test piece first before using the product.
Keep the following rules of thumb while spraying SprayMax 1K primer.
- Spraying distance: 10-15 cm.
- Number of cross coats: 1 to 3
- Evaporation time between coats: 3-5 minutes
How fast does this 1K filler primer in spray can dry?
SprayMax 1K Filler Primer is a fast drying primer in aerosol can. How fast it dries is shown below.
- Dust dry: 10-12 minutes at 20°C
- Can be handled: about 15 minutes at 20°C
- Sandable: 25 minutes at 20°C
- Infra Red Short Wave: 7 minutes

- After spraying, we recommend that you turn the spray can upside down and empty the built-in suction tube.

How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
