Fade Out Thinner SprayMax aerosol is a special blending thinner to make a smooth transition with freshly sprayed car paint, to the old existing paint layer. SprayMax Fade Out Thinner aerosol is often used as the last step in spot repair work. This allows you to process the spray edge that runs to the old car paint layer. The SprayMax blending thinner can contains a special paint thinner, which blends the old and new paint into each other creating a seamless and invisible transition!

SprayMax Blending Thinner for 1K and 2K paint

This SprayMax Blending Thinner can be used on all 1K and 2 component lacquers. Please note that it is only suitable for conventional lacquers (solvent based). This spray can thinner provides an invisible transition from the newly sprayed car paint to the existing paint layer. As a result, you develop an invisible transition of the car paint, allowing you to make an invisible repair. Also because this blending thinner is in an aerosol can, it is ideally suited for spot repair work. SprayMax blending thinner is sprayed into the transition area in 2 to a maximum of 4 coats until an invisible transition is created.

What do I use bleding thinner for?

• Spot repair and touch-up work
• Apply directly after spraying SprayMax 2K clearcoat or SprayMax 2K topcoat on the transition areas
• The surface of the spray-out zone should be generously matted with a sanding pad (P2000 to P4000)

How do I spray the fade out thinner?

• Apply in 2 to maximum 4 coats to the transition zone with the 2K Clear Varnish or 2K Color Varnish until a homogeneous transition is created
• No evaporation time necessary after application of the 2K Clear Varnish or 2K Color Varnish
• Spraying capacity: approx. 0.5 m² - 1 m² per 400 ml spray can
