Painting your calipers black is easy with this aerosol heat resistant paint in 7 steps. Thanks to the spray paint, you will be able to paint your calipers black evenly for a professional result. Follow the steps below:
- Before you start spraying, clean the calipers thoroughly. To do this, use a high-quality degreaser or silicone remover.
- Sand the caliper with a 400 grit sanding pad.
- To ensure good and lasting adhesion, we recommend applying an epoxy primer as a primer to the metal of the caliper.
- Then sand this primer before painting the caliper black.
- Shake the spray can well before use. Spray 2 to 3 coats of caliper paint with a distance of 25cm from the surface. Let the paint evaporate for 3 to 5 minutes between each coat.
- The paint is dust-dry after 10 to 15 minutes at 20°C. Spray the caliper paint with 2K clear coat for maximum resistance to stone chips, chemicals, acids and fuel.
- After the final coat, allow the paint on the calipers to dry for at least 12 hours for the paint to fully harden.

How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
How long is a 2K spray can usable after activation?
24 hours. After activating the 2K spray can, the two components will mix, starting the curing process, making the spray can usable for 24 hours.
