Metal Expert Rust Remover Dip from Rust-Oleum is a dip bath that is suitable for removing rust from small metal objects. This dip removes rust safely and effectively without having to scrape the surface. It is the ideal solution for removing rust from tools, hardware or other small metal parts. Use Metal Expert Rust Remover Dip for the fast and effective removal of rust down to bare metal.
How do to use the Rust-Oleum Metal Expert Rust Remover Dip?
- Remove really loose rust with a steel brush and test in an inconspicuous area first.
- Make sure the surface is completely degreased and dry to avoid adhesion problems.
- Pour the rust remover into a container and place the objects in it. Make sure everything is completely immersed in the Rust Remover Dip. Soak for about 8 hours. For heavily rusted objects, we advise you to leave them overnight.
- Remove the objects from the bath and rinse with water.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
