2K Carbon Putty

MIPA P27 Crystal Carbon 2K Putty + Hardener is a transparent UV-resistant putty. Specially designed to fill visible carbon fiber and suitable for very uneven surfaces. Pores and unevenness in carbon and other composite materials and wood can be quickly leveled. This eliminates the need to apply multiple coats of intermediate clearcoat, resulting in significant time and cost savings.

MIPA Carbon Coating System

Carbon is extremely popular as a lightweight material and is used to reduce weight and fuel consumption in vehicles. To preserve carbon permanently, it is necessary to use the appropriate products for this purpose. Obviously, these coatings are needed to improve the low UV stability of carbon fibers. MIPA produces transparent coating products for carbon fiber surfaces. The MIPA Carbon Coating System consists of:

• MIPA 2K HS Carbonic Clear Coat
• Mipa P27 Crystal Carbon 2K Filler + Hardener
• Mipa P67 S Carbon 2K Polyester Primer Filler + Hardener

Paintable

Mipa P27 is directly paintable with MIPA 2K HS Carbon Clear Varnish. Alternatively, as a filler coat, an intermediate coat with Mipa P67 S Primer Filler can be used. The UV resistance of Mipa P27 ensures a filler with almost no yellowing.
