Carbon Clear Varnish
MIPA 2K HS Carbonic Clear Varnish is a high gloss acrylic clear coat for carbon and to protect particularly vulnerable (carbon fiber) surfaces from UV rays. The MIPA carbon clear coat has excellent filling properties, is safe to use and has fast drying, despite low consumption (25 minutes at 40°C). As a result, MIPA 2K carbon clear coat provides an easy and durable finish for any kind of carbon and carbon fiber surfaces.
MIPA Carbon Coating System
Carbon is extremely popular as a lightweight and strong material. Hiredoor carbon is used for reducing weight and fuel consumption in cars. To keep carbon permanently beautiful, it is necessary to use the right products for this purpose. Obviously, these coatings are needed to improve the low UV stability of carbon fibers. MIPA produces transparent coating products for carbon fiber surfaces. The MIPA Carbon Coating System consists of:

- Mipa P27 Crystal Carbon 2K Filler + Hardener
- Mipa P67 S Carbon 2K Polyester Primer Filler + Hardener
2K Carbon Paint
2K Carbon Paint should be used in combination with the MIPA 2K HS hardeners. Here the mixing ratio is 2:1 with activators listed below.
- MIPA2K HS10 (for small areas)
- MIPA 2KHS25 (for large surfaces)
- MIPA 2KHS35 (for large surfaces and/or higher temperatures)
Formula 1
