MIPA 2K-EP-Grundierfiller epoxy primer in practical spray can
The MIPA2K-EP-Grundierfiller from MIPA is a beige epoxy primer for professional use. This convenient 2K spray epoxy primer offers excellent adhesion to aluminium, steel, zinc, existing paint layers, iron, etc. The primer also provides corrosion protection to metals. After drying, the primer is easy to sand and can be covered with water-based or solvent-based paints, 1K or 2K.
Insulating primer
An insulating primer ensures the correct adhesion of a new paint to a previously painted or varnished surface. To allow the new paint to adhere properly, an insulating primer should be applied. The 2K-EP-Grundierfiller is ideal for this. Sand the existing paint layer, degrease and then spray the 2K epoxy primer to create an insulating layer. Irregularities are filled in and filled to create a smooth, clean surface.
How to apply the 2K epoxy primer?

- Make sure the aerosol is at room temperature
- Shake the can before use for several minutes
- Remove the red button from the cap and place it squarely on the bottom of the can
- Press the button firmly
- Make sure the can remains stable during this manoeuvre
- Shake the can again for 2-3 minutes so that the 2 components are well mixed
- Spray from a distance of 20-30 cm from the surface
- Apply in 2 to 3 coats
- Allow a 15 minute evaporation break between coats
- Finished with the spray? Turn the can upside down and press the nozzle until the suction tube is empty and only the propellant comes out
