MIPA 2K-EP-Grundierfiller epoxy primer in practical spray can

The MIPA2K-EP-Grundierfiller from MIPA is a beige epoxy primer for professional use. This convenient 2K spray epoxy primer offers excellent adhesion to aluminium, steel, zinc, existing paint layers, iron, etc. The primer also provides corrosion protection to metals. After drying, the primer is easy to sand and can be covered with water-based or solvent-based paints, 1K or 2K.

Insulating primer

An insulating primer ensures the correct adhesion of a new paint to a previously painted or varnished surface. To allow the new paint to adhere properly, an insulating primer should be applied. The 2K-EP-Grundierfiller is ideal for this. Sand the existing paint layer, degrease and then spray the 2K epoxy primer to create an insulating layer. Irregularities are filled in and filled to create a smooth, clean surface.

How to apply the 2K epoxy primer?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you remove adhesive residues

Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint

How much can I spray with a spray can?

A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
