Use the step-by-step instructions below on how to use Hammerite radiator spray paint.

1. Before you begin, the radiator should be cool and not in use.
2. Remove loose paint and/or rust by sanding.
3. Clean the surface with Hammerite metal degreaser.
4. Lightly sand the surface and clean again with degreaser.
5. Spray radiator paint on non ferrous metal? If so, apply Hammerite adhesive primer first.
6. Tape the area to protect against overspray and spray mist.
7. Shake spray can well at least 3 minutes before use.
8. Apply a minimum of 3 thin coats and spray in a smooth motion.
9. Maintain a spraying distance of 30cm.
10. We recommend a 30-minute pause between spray coats of radiator paint.
11. Ready? Let the radiator lacquer dry for at least 24 hours.
12. For the first use, you should slowly bring the radiator up to temperature.
13. Tip: never hold the spray can still while spraying, this prevents sags.
14. Note: the spray can should be at room temperature.
