1. If you are going to start heater painting, the radiator should be cooled down.
2. Remove loose paint and rust with a sandpaper.
3. Clean the surface with Hammerite metal degreaser.
4. Is the surface made of aluminum, copper, stainless steel, zinc or galvanized steel? If so, apply Hammerite Primer first for best adhesion.
5. Stir the Hammerite Radiator Paint for at least 2 minutes.
6. Apply the 2 coats of radiator paint with a brush or roller.
7. After radiator painting, allow the paint to dry for at least 24 hours.
8. Note: when using the radiator for the first time, bring it up to temperature gradually.
9. Advice: always paint the radiator when the room is at room temperature.
