How do you sand a polyester boat?

To sand a polyester boat, start by choosing the right grit sandpaper. For pre-finishing, use coarse sandpaper (80-120 grit) to remove the old coat of paint or damage. Make sure you sand evenly and work in the direction of the fibres. Then you can switch to finer sandpaper (220-400 grit) for a smoother surface. Remember to clean the surface well in between to remove dust and dirt. After sanding, it is important to finish the boat with a suitable coating for protection and shine.
