CROP Candy Bambou
CROP Candy Lacquer Bambou in spray can is a professional thinner-based paint and extremely bright in color for a unique effect. Our candy lacquer is custom made and filled in a CROP spray can for a professional spray result.
3-layer lacquer system
To get the right candy color, you need to spray the paint according to a so-called 3-layer system. This requires a special base color (sparkling silver). After you have sprayed the base color, the candy color can be sprayed, followed by a clearcoat to protect the paint.
- Basecoat: the basecoat is the special pre-color. For CROP candy colors, the corresponding CROP Sparkling Silver is used. This is a beautiful metallic silver color.
- Candy: after you spray the base color, the candy color can be applied. With CROP, you have several colors to choose from.
- Clear coat: to give the lacquer shine and optimal protection against external influences, it is necessary to spray it with a clear coat. The varnish gives extra depth and lifts the intensity of the color to an unprecedented level.

How do I spray candy paint?
To properly apply candy paint, follow the steps below. The final color depends on the substrate, layer thickness and spray distance.
- Shake the spray can well for 3 minutes. This will mix all the pigments in the candy paint well.
- Always spray a test piece first to check color consistency.
- Spray 1 to 2 cross coats of candy base-coat (the special pre-color sparkling silver), until sufficient coverage is achieved. Allow 5 minutes drying time between spray coats.
- Let the final coat of the special pre-color dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not wait longer than 24 hours before spraying the candy color.
- Spray 2 to 3 cross coats of candy until you achieve the desired color result (the more coats, the more intense and darker the color). Keep a drying time of 5 minutes between spray coats. This allows the paint to evaporate sufficiently.
- Always spray candy paint with a 1K or 2K clear coat. Spray 1 to 2 cross coats of varnish to get the proper depth of color and protection. Never wait longer than 24 hours before spraying the clear coat after the last spray coat. Preferably after 15 to 30 minutes.
Note: Do not spray thick layers, this has an adverse effect on the drying time. In addition, it can cause cloud formation.
