How to: spray Candy Apple Red

Spray Candy Apple Red using the step-by-step plan below. In 5 steps you can correctly process the set of 3 aerosols for the best result! Keep in mind that the final effect depends on layer thickness and spray distance.

Shake the Sparkling Silver metallic spray can well before use.
Spray the surface in several thin layers so that the surface is completely sprayed in the color silver metallic. Then wait until the paint is completely dry. Do not wait longer than 24 hours for this and do not sand it.
Shake the Candy Apple Red spray can well before use.
Spray 2 to 3 coats of red Candy Apple paint until the desired color, shade and brightness is achieved. Keep in mind that the more coats you apply, the darker the color becomes. We recommend a 5-minute evaporation time between spray coats.
As soon as the Candy Apple paint is dry you should finish this red color with a clear coat. Shake the 2K clear coat well before use and activate the spray can in the right way! Spray 2 layers of varnish to give the Candy Apple Red lacquer maximum protection, depth and gloss! After this, let everything cure for at least 24 hours at room temperature in a dust-free environment!

Do you need to apply a primer?

In order for this Candy Apple Red lacquer to adhere properly and permanently to the surface, we recommend applying a primer before you begin. It depends on the material which primer you should apply. For on plastic we advise using a plastic primer, other materials we advise using an epoxy primer.
