CROP 2K Epoxy Primer
CROP 2K Epoxy Primer Black is a high-quality, two-component corrosion resistant sealer with excellent adhesion to metal, fibreglass and aluminum surfaces. 2K Epoxy primer spray paint improves adhesion of body fillers and resists moisture damage caused by water permeation. It is recoatable with all standard solvent or waterborne 1K and 2K paints.
Epoxy Primer 2K spray paint
CROP epoxy primer 2K spray can consists of two components; primer and activator. By "activating" the aerosol with the red button, the hardener is mixed with the base coat. Therefore, 2K epoxy primer is chemical-resistant, corrosion-resistant and has excellent adhesion on a variety of properly prepared surfaces.

How do I spray 2K epoxy automotive primer? Please follow the instructions below.
- Before spraying the epoxy primer, surfaces should be clean, dry and sanded.
- Shake well before use (approximately 2 minutes).
- Simply take the red button from the cap and attach it to the pin on the bottom of the can.
- Put the top of the can on stable ground and push the red button firmly and press the pin into the can.
- Shake again for two minutes to ensure activator is thoroughly mixed with clearcoat.
- Spray 2 to 3 coats of primer with a spray distance of 20 to 30 cm. Take a 10 to 15 minute flash time between coats.
- After the final coat, allow the primer to dry for at least 12 hours at 20°C.
- After activated, this product has a pot life of 6 hours.

How do you remove adhesive residues

How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Do you need to sand primer
Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.
How long is a 2K spray can usable after activation?
24 hours. After activating the 2K spray can, the two components will mix, starting the curing process, making the spray can usable for 24 hours.
