VHT Wrinkle paint Red is a unique heat-resistant paint that has the finish of an engine block from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Harley Davidson, among others. After curing, the Red paint will have a shrinkage effect that is incredibly durable and wear-resistant. VHT's Red crimp effect is similar to a special rough coating that you also see on many American cars, Hot Rods, motorbikes and old timers.
How to apply wrinkle paint?
The VHT Wrinkle Paint is a shrinkage paint that you can easily apply using the step-by-step plan below. In 5 steps, you spray the wrinkle paint Red in the right way for the desired effect.
- Remove any loose paint and rust. Clean the surface thoroughly by using a good degreaser.
- Spray the surface with primer. Use the VHT SP148 Primer spray can for this purpose.
- Shake the spray can of VHT Wrinkle Plus Coating well before use. Spray several layers of wrinkle coat until the desired coverage is achieved. Note, keep a 5-minute pause between coats to allow the paint to evaporate properly.
- After the last coat, you should "bake" the shrinkage lacquer to get the desired effect. This can be done by idling for 20 minutes, with a hairdryer or in an oven at 90°C.
- We recommend only after 24 hours to load the sprayed surface against external influences.
