Roadmap: spraying bedliner paint

Bedliner by Raptor Liner is a 2K abrasion and scratch resistant coating that you can apply yourself with a spray gun or paint roller. To properly apply Raptor Liner Bedliner paint to the car, use the tips below!

1. Always sand the surface first.
2. Rust? Treat it with a rust converter.
3. Apply the proper primer
   • Metal, aluminum and iron: Raptor Liner etch primer or epoxy primer
   • Plastic and plastics: Raptor Liner Adhesion Promoter
   • Existing lacquer or paint: Suffice to sand lightly, provided you do not sand through the primer
4. Mix the hardener completely with all bedliner paint.
5. Shake or mix the 2-component well for two minutes.
6. Turn the bottle on the spray gun or pour the 2K coating into the paint tray for rolling.
7. We recommend applying at least 2 to 3 coats: keep a 60-minute break between coats.
8. Bedliner paint should cure for at least 24 hours after the last coat.
9. For best results, work at room temperature and in a dust-free (closed) room.
