Protect exhaust paint with Raptor Flameproof Clear Coat spray
Raptor Flameproof Clear Coat spray is a silk gloss varnish that is heat resistant up to 1000°C. This heat-resistant silk gloss clear varnish spray can from Raptor is specially designed to finish exhaust paint. By spraying on exhaust, engine parts and other parts exposed to extremely high temperatures, the color remains beautiful and silky gloss for a long time. Ideal as a clear coat over Raptor Flameproof refractory paint
This varnish is ideal as a clear coat over Raptor Flameproof refractory paint to give it additional protection against external influences. The clear varnish adheres optimally to sanded surfaces and the heat-resistant paint from the Raptor Flameproof line.
Easy to apply with professional results
The Raptor aerosol clear coat is equipped with a clog-free spot-nozzle, ideal for spraying 3D shapes and hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to its fast drying time, dust-dry in 30 minutes, you work efficiently without compromising on quality. For best results, apply 2-3 thin coats with an intermediate drying time of 5 to 10 minutes. For best results, lightly sand the surface with 800 to 1000 grit and clean with a degreaser.
Curing at engine heat or oven
After applying the clear coat, the surface must cure completely. This can be done by idling the engine (if fitted), or by baking the part at 150°C for 1 hour. This will activate the refractory properties and make the lacquer optimally resistant to heat and chemicals.

How many layers of clear coat should I apply?
How do you remove adhesive residues
Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint
How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
