Nozzle and Needle Sets

Most nozzles and needles are machine with interchangeable quality. You don't need to purchase matching set to complete rebuilds. However, with some pressure guns and specialty guns we recommend that both nozzle and needle be replaced.

Spray Gun Nozzle Tip Size

Choosing the right spray gun nozzle might seem like a difficult job. However, you'll achieve the best results when you refer to the paint manufacturers technical data sheets for that particular product you're spraying. 

A general rule of thumb is:

• 2K Car Spray Paint 1.3 to 1.4
• Clearcoat 1.2 to 1.4
• Primer 1.7 to 2.2
• Spray putty 2.5 to 3.0

Please keep in note that this is a general rule of thumb. Many car painters achieve outstanding results from unorthodox methods.
