MOLYKOTE Metal Protector Plus is ideal for metal parts that need to be stored, transported or shut down for long periods of time where rust must be prevented. This spray metal coating with anti rust effect is used on parts in the automotive, machinery and metalworking industries, such as shafts, flanges, bolts, gears, equipment parts, as well as on metal surfaces in equipment and transport modules. The anti-rust metal coating is also suitable for use on steel, aluminum, zinc, chrome and painted surfaces.

How to use MOLYKOTE Metal Protector Plus spray?

Clean the surface thoroughly so that dirt, oil and rust are completely removed. Preferably apply several thin coats with the spray, allowing each coat to dry between applications. At room temperature, the coating dries in about 90 minutes. Because the coating is compatible with common lubricants, this film does not require prior removal in most applications. If necessary, removal can be done with white spirit. After use, the spray valve should be cleaned by spraying the can upside down.
