MIPA Auto Spray white acrylic primer in spray can
MIPA Auto Spray is a fast drying white acrylic primer in spray can that is suitable as an undercoat to aid the adhesion of the subsequent paint coat. The white acrylic primer is ideal before applying a light coloured paint or clear finish. In addition, it is a filling primer that fills in small dents, scratches and other small irregularities. This acrylic primer is particularly easy to use and quick drying, so you can finish the job quickly!
White primer
A white primer is suitable for use when you want to apply a light-coloured paint afterwards. Light-coloured paint looks good and has a transparent effect. The background colour is important for the final colour result. It is therefore ideal as an undercoat for neon, light, fluorescent and metallic shades.
How to apply a white primer?
Follow the step-by-step plan below on how best to apply it. This MIPA Auto Spray white acrylic primer is known as an easy-to-apply primer.
- Shake the can vigorously before use until you hear the mixing beads move freely.
- Use at temperatures between 15 and 25ºC.
- Maintain a spray distance of 20-30 cm from the surface.
- Apply 2 to 3 full coats of primer.
- Allow 5 minutes of evaporation time between coats.
- After the last coat, you must allow the product to harden.
- Finished with the spray? Turn the can upside down and press the nozzle until only the propellant comes out. Now the nozzle is clean and you can store the remaining product.

How do you remove adhesive residues
Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint
How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Do you need to sand primer
Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.
