3M 51212 2K Premium Glaze
3M 51212 Premium Glaze is mainly used as a finishing coat prior to the application of 2K primers in order to fill small surface imperfections such as pinholes or sanding scratches which remain after previous filling and sanding stages. Correct use of the product may also enable a reduction in primer use.
Over paintable with any car paint
After the product has cured, it can be over painted with any type of car paint.
How do I use 3M 51212 Premium Glaze?
Squeeze the desired amount of premium glaze on a mixing board and add 3-4% hardener. To ensure the correct mixing ratio, the hardener must be weighed, as is the case with all peroxide hardeners; excessive amounts can lead to discoloration of the final top layer. Mix the 2 components carefully until it has a uniform color.
Apply the mixture to the prepared repair surface, which must be clean and dry. The glaze hardens in about 20 minutes at 23°C, afterwards it can be sanded with sandpaper P180-240.
