VALVOLINE 20035 Tectyl Bodysafe protects against corrosion and salt. Noise-absorbing, flexible and chip-resistant. Bitumen based undercoating is resistant to weather influences and weak acids and bases and has an excellent rust prevention. Bitumen based undercoating remains flexible and is sound-absorbing. Good workable product
This tectyl applies very well especially when it is at room temperature. I found the drying time to be quite long. The tectyl remains very flexible so you can also apply it to materials that still need to be bent. The longevity of this tectyl I have yet to see.

Fine for wheel arches of the car
Great product for protection wheel wells of my car from brine and moisture. In my experience, a product applied with a brush adheres better than one applied with a spray can. I only use the spray can for places I cannot reach with the brush. As a 1st coat I recommend the Tectyl ML, which is very thin and creeps in everywhere. Let it dry well, and then a firm coat of bodysafe over it. Can the car again a few winters! Tip: repeat the treatment after a few years, because the layer gets damaged by drying out and stone chips, so keep checking!
