Rust-Oleum X1 Silicone Spray is an odorless and colorless high quality superfine dry lubricant with excellent thermal stability, for all types of general purpose lubrication applications.

What can silicone spray be used for?

Rust-Oleum Silicone Spray penetrates and protects metal, rubber and plastic parts. An ultra-thin film dry lubricant with excellent long-term penetrating properties. Lubricate cables, chains, bearings, pins, links, conveyors and hinges. Protection of metal surfaces against rust. Lubrication of locks, hinges and other moving parts. Cleaning of vinyl, plastic and rubber surfaces. Release agent for molds and castings. Protects locks from freezing. Ideal for use in the pharmaceutical industry.

How do I use the silicone spray?

Ensure electrical equipment is insulated and check surfaces for compatibility before application. Clean and remove old lubricant.

1. Apply at temperatures between 5° and 35°C.
2. Shake the spray can before use.
3. Spray a light film on the surface from 20 to 30 cm.
4. Do not over apply.
