Frequently Asked Questions
How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Should clear coat be applied over car paint?
Yes, you should use clear coat over 1K automotive paint to protect the color. When buying clear coat, you have options such as high-gloss, satin, and matte, as well as 1K and 2K. 2K clear coat is the original factory high-gloss finish and is the most commonly chosen varnish.
When is this glitter gold spray paint suitable for you?
Read more Read less
- Rims, trim, or small metal parts: The spray paint provides an even glitter layer on hard-to-reach places such as rims or mirror caps. Sanding, degreasing, and a primer ensure that the paint adheres and stays beautiful for a long time.
- Creative projects such as furniture or custom parts: This can works well for a helmet, bicycle frame, or piece of furniture that needs a striking gold shine. Spraying thin layers prevents drips and provides an even glitter distribution.
- Less suitable for large surfaces or small scratches: Spraying an entire car or trailer with a can is uneven and expensive; a spray gun with a compressor is more efficient. For stone chips or a single scratch, a touch-up pen is more accurate and produces less overspray.
