In addition, this anti seize paste is effective in applications such as linear slide guides, shafts, press fits, exhaust bolts, flange seals, hinges and brake mechanisms. Thanks to its metal-free composition, MOLYKOTE P-74 is also suitable for applications in industries where metal particles are undesirable, such as chemical plants or fine mechanics.

How to use MOLYKOTE P74 anti seize paste?

First carefully clean the surface of screw threads or contact surfaces and free them from rust, dirt or old lubricants. Then apply a thin, even coat of MOLYKOTE P74 with a finger, brush or lubricating paste applicator. For bolts and nuts, the entire thread should be coated, without overdosing. When used under high temperatures, some of the paste may turn into a dry lubricating film that can withstand high loads. Excess paste need not be completely removed before assembly, but avoid mixing with other lubricants to avoid loss of performance.
