How to apply an underbody coating?

In 5 steps, you can easily apply the underbody coating yourself. To apply the bodyschutz, you need an undercoating spray gun. Follow the steps below on how best to spray the UBC.

1. Make sure the undercoating gun is at room temperature. Here, a processing temperature of 15 to 30°C is best.
2. Because of the High Solid quality and because heavy pigments in the coating sink to the bottom, it is important to shake the canister very well for at least 5 minutes. This mixes all components well together and makes the coating more fluid.
3. Screw the bodyschutz gun onto the bottom canister and set the working pressure between 3 and 5 bar. A higher spray pressure results in a more fine texture.
4. Apply 1 coat of bodyschutz. Do you want to spray another coat? Then wait 5 minutes before applying the second coat.
5. After 45 minutes at 20 degrees Celsius, the underbody coating is repaintable with 2K lacquer or primer.
