Frequently Asked Questions

What compressor do you need to spray paint?

You need an oil-free compressor to spray paint. When the compressor is oil-free, you don't have to worry that residual oil can get into the paint or lacquer. To spray paint, you also need a compressor that provides enough compressed air for your paint sprayer.

What does a compressor consume?

A compressor uses less energy thanks to energy-saving components. A compressor consumes little power if it runs on 220 volts or 400 volts power.

Which compressor is best to use?

Which compressor is best to use is different for each application. If you want to spray paint, it is best to use an oil-free compressor. If you are going to use heavy air tools, then a piston compressor is best to use.

Are there quiet compressors?

Yes, there are quiet compressors. These low-noise compressors are quiet thanks to special materials that dampen vibrations, noises and noise. Silent compressors make no more noise than 67 db(A).

How long can a compressor run?

A compressor can run for a long time as long as there is enough compressed air in the boiler. When the tank is empty, the compressor will kick on to build up compressed air in the boiler again. After this, the compressor can run for a long time again.

A compressor with or without oil?

A compressor with or without oil is different for each application. If you are going to spray paint then you will want a compressor without oil. Are you using Heavy Duty pneumatic tools then you want a compressor with oil.

When is this oil-lubricated piston compressor suitable for you?

A heavy-duty stationary compressor for workshops and semi-professional jobs where a continuous supply of air is required and you are willing to monitor the oil level.

  • Fixed installation in a workshop or garage: With 1495 liters per minute and 10 hp, this compressor delivers enough air for heavier pneumatic tools and continuous use. Due to the oil-lubricated pump section, the noise level remains lower than with a comparable oil-free compressor.
  • Intensive use with air tools: This compressor is suitable for tasks such as blasting, sanding, or prolonged use of an impact wrench. The large capacity ensures that you do not have to constantly wait for pressure, provided you monitor the oil level and oil changes according to the manual.
  • Less suitable for occasional home use: For inflating a tire occasionally or using a stapler, this device is oversized and requires more maintenance than a compact oil-free compressor. Anyone who does not want to check or change the oil is better off choosing an oil-free model.
