Frequently Asked Questions
What compressor do you need to spray paint?
You need an oil-free compressor to spray paint. When the compressor is oil-free, you don't have to worry that residual oil can get into the paint or lacquer. To spray paint, you also need a compressor that provides enough compressed air for your paint sprayer.
What does a compressor consume?
A compressor uses less energy thanks to energy-saving components. A compressor consumes little power if it runs on 220 volts or 400 volts power.
Which compressor is best to use?
Which compressor is best to use is different for each application. If you want to spray paint, it is best to use an oil-free compressor. If you are going to use heavy air tools, then a piston compressor is best to use.
Are there quiet compressors?
Yes, there are quiet compressors. These low-noise compressors are quiet thanks to special materials that dampen vibrations, noises and noise. Silent compressors make no more noise than 67 db(A).
How long can a compressor run?
A compressor can run for a long time as long as there is enough compressed air in the boiler. When the tank is empty, the compressor will kick on to build up compressed air in the boiler again. After this, the compressor can run for a long time again.
A compressor with or without oil?
A compressor with or without oil is different for each application. If you are going to spray paint then you will want a compressor without oil. Are you using Heavy Duty pneumatic tools then you want a compressor with oil.
When is this oil-lubricated compressor suitable for you?
This oil-lubricated compressor is a good choice if you are looking for a reliable and powerful air source for long-term use, without wanting to immediately make the move to an industrial installation. It delivers sufficient capacity for most demanding jobs in a professional or serious hobby environment.

- For the semi-professional workshop or large hobby garage: If you regularly use air tools such as impact wrenches, sanders, or spray guns and require constant air pressure, this compressor offers the necessary power and stability. The 650 liters per minute capacity ensures that you can keep working without waiting times.
- For jobs requiring a high and continuous air output: Think of blasting parts, spraying larger surfaces, or powering multiple air tools at once. The 5.5 hp motor and oil-lubricated system are designed for durability and a higher duty cycle than many lighter models.
- Less suitable for occasional use or small spaces: For inflating a tire or blowing off dust, this compressor is oversized and unnecessarily loud. If you are looking for a quieter compressor for indoor use or a compact model for sporadic use, a smaller, oil-free compressor is a better choice.
