Frequently Asked Questions

What compressor do you need to spray paint?

You need an oil-free compressor to spray paint. When the compressor is oil-free, you don't have to worry that residual oil can get into the paint or lacquer. To spray paint, you also need a compressor that provides enough compressed air for your paint sprayer.

What does a compressor consume?

A compressor uses less energy thanks to energy-saving components. A compressor consumes little power if it runs on 220 volts or 400 volts power.

Which compressor is best to use?

Which compressor is best to use is different for each application. If you want to spray paint, it is best to use an oil-free compressor. If you are going to use heavy air tools, then a piston compressor is best to use.

Are there quiet compressors?

Yes, there are quiet compressors. These low-noise compressors are quiet thanks to special materials that dampen vibrations, noises and noise. Silent compressors make no more noise than 67 db(A).

How long can a compressor run?

A compressor can run for a long time as long as there is enough compressed air in the boiler. When the tank is empty, the compressor will kick on to build up compressed air in the boiler again. After this, the compressor can run for a long time again.

A compressor with or without oil?

A compressor with or without oil is different for each application. If you are going to spray paint then you will want a compressor without oil. Are you using Heavy Duty pneumatic tools then you want a compressor with oil.

When is this oil-lubricated compressor suitable for you?

This oil-lubricated compressor is a good choice if you regularly use compressed air tools for jobs that require a bit more power and constant air pressure. Think of spraying, sanding, or powering impact wrenches. The machine is robust and designed for durability.

  • For the serious detailer or semi-professional: If you frequently work with compressed air tools such as a paint spray gun or a pneumatic sander, this compressor offers the necessary capacity and constant pressure. The 50-liter tank ensures sufficient buffer capacity so that the motor does not have to run continuously.
  • Durability and long-term use: An oil-lubricated compressor is built for a longer lifespan and can handle more intensive use better than an oil-free model. This is an investment that pays for itself if you use the compressor regularly and for extended periods.
  • Less suitable for occasional and light work: For simple jobs such as inflating tires or blowing dust, this compressor is oversized. A smaller, oil-free model is more convenient and quieter. This type is also less suitable for applications where absolutely oil-free air is required, such as precision spray painting in a cleanroom.
