3M Scotch-Weld DP8910NS is an industrial structural acrylic adhesive designed specifically for bonding nylon (polyamide) without pretreatment. The 3M DP8910NS Scotch-Weld black adhesive bonds incredibly well to aluminum, steel, composites and common plastics. This makes this acrylic adhesive ideal for applications in Automotive, transportation, sporting goods and plastic construction.

Stays in place thanks to non-sag paste formula

This 3M acrylic adhesive has a non-sag consistency, which makes it particularly suitable for vertical or inclined applications. The paste does not sag and stays exactly where you apply it, ensuring tight and controllable work without waste.

Fast curing at room temperature without an oven

With an open time of about 10 minutes and hand strength after 15 to 20 minutes, 3M DP8910NS offers speed and flexibility. Full curing occurs within 24 hours at 23°C, but can be accelerated by heating to a maximum of 70°C. Perfect for workshops without a furnace.

High load-bearing joints for structural use

After curing, this adhesive delivers impressive performance: a tensile modulus of 758 MPa, an elongation at break of 93% and a tensile stress at break of 16.7 MPa. This makes DP8910NS particularly suitable for structural applications involving tensile and shear loads. Thanks to a glass transition temperature of 139°C, 3M DP8910NS also performs well in applications with elevated temperatures. The adhesive remains strong and stable even under prolonged heat loads.
