G-N Plus is the most professional MOLYKOTE Lubricant for Assembly and Running-In. This lubricant is broadly applicable in both assembly and run-in applications where metal contact surfaces are exposed to extreme pressure. These include gears, splines, sliding surfaces, bearings, sheaves, cylinder contacts and other mechanical joints. In metalworking, the paste helps prevent galling, metal adhesion and wear in processes such as turning, milling, bending, extrusion and threading. Also in assembly, MOLYKOTE G-N Plus reduces the torque required at bolted joints and promotes stable disassembly without damage to parts.

How to use MOLYKOTE G-N Plus Lubricating Paste

First, carefully clean and grease the contact surfaces to remove old grease and contamination. Apply a thin, even layer of MOLYKOTE G-N Plus with a cloth, brush or spatula over the area to be lubricated. Make sure the paste adheres well to the surface and avoid using excessive amounts; a thin film is often sufficient. For applications with grease nipples or central lubrication, the paste can be applied by hand grease gun or automatic systems. During assembly or run-in phase, use the paste on moving parts so that the new lubricant effectively loads the contact area.
