Kip 347 Barrier Tape
Kip 347 Barrier Tape is suitable for permanent, air- and vapor-tight masking of insulation materials at penetrations, in accordance with EnEV and DIN 4108-7. The tape is used at penetrations in pipes, stove pipes, ducts, chimneys, rafters, (roof) windows and the like.
Single-sided tape
The product consists of a single-sided adhesive tape for roof extension made of reinforced and highly flexible HDPE film The tape is reinforced with fabric. The tape has a very high adhesive strength on a wide variety of substrates, which is maintained even at low temperatures (-40 °C to +70 °C) due to the thick adhesive layer.
Vapor barrier tape
347 by Kip contains an acrylic adhesive that absorbs and releases moisture. Therefore, the tape can also be applied to slightly damp substrates and a durable bond can be guaranteed to hold when the rooms are in use. Tape vapor control film can be used at temperatures below zero. However, the ideal temperature is about 18°C and 25°C. If tape rolls are used when it is too cold, the adhesive strength may decrease or the adhesive layer will be affected. For this reason, it is advisable not to store tape rolls on construction sites or in company vehicles during winter, but to store them at room temperature.
